About the event
Newbrook Camp is striving to make an impact in the lives of Adults, Children and Teens that attend the camp every Year. Each and everyone who attends is of particular care and concern to us and are at the heart of all we do. With this in mind we require all participants to register.
Our passion is to make Newbrook Camp an accessible experience for every child, teen and family. Our income depends on generous people like you. Your donation will make all the difference for continued success of this camp, year after year.
We try very hard to manage our funds so that we have the necessary amount to maintain the property costs, building maintenance, and children and youth programs and activities. Cost includes Speakers, Cook, Programs leaders, etc. All of who have given many hours of dedicated time with little or no pay. It takes a lot of passionate and energetic volunteer staff to minister at camp each summer. Your contribution helps us honour their ministry efforts in the fulfillment of our mission to reach the lost and teach the found. Meals are provided, beginning on Saturday for Dinner and concludes after Lunch on Sunday.
The average overall running cost of 8 days of camp, based on previous years is $23,500.
Which averages out to Approximately:
$240 to $280+ per camp participant for the week
$90 per camp participant for the weekend Friday to Sunday only
$30 per camp participant for the day only, which including: meals & general camp expenses
Meals are served on a free will offering, but many have asked about the Average Meal costs per day:
Senior (65+): $15/day
Adult/Youth: $20/day
Child (4 to 12): $10/day (under 3 are free)
Average Accommodation Costs per day, when including Cost of Heat & electricity :
Dorm Room, and RV /Trailer: $5/day
Motel Room, Cabin, RV/Trailer: $10-$15/day
NOTE: The Great Camp Auction proceeds are in addition to the camp fees, money received during auction is primarily used for improvement projects, much needed repairs and upgrades.
